P.H. Nargeolet was by all accounts a great man, who I sadly didn’t have the privilege of knowing personally. While I unfortunately never met P.H. myself, his tireless dedication to preserving the memory of RMS Titanic and her passengers not only in the history books, but also in public consciousness, has earned the unwavering respect and admiration of myself and countless others in the Titanic community. I was deeply shocked and saddened when I learned he was among those lost last year. May his family find solace in the fact that P.H. was loved by many around the world, and may ‘Mr. Titanic’ rest in peace.
